hamster collage

hamster collage, originally uploaded by kritty.

I made this for my neighbor. She's 3! Smart mommy (and dear friend) when I asked, "What does she want for her birthday?" She said, "make her one of your things....." I've been making collages... they remind me of quilting and cross-stitch and I dream about them. More to come, but I like how this one turned out. I hope she does too!! Fun when your muse is 3 and loves hamsters.

Boy Girl Giant Robot Fun

I escaped with my boy and we went to Giant Robot to see zillions of adorable little paintings by Susie Ghahremani of boygirlparty.com

There were zillions of little wooden 'canvases' about 4"x3" with the cutest little scenarios on them. There was also a chance to write a haiku about them. Very fun and very crowded.
Sometimes it pays to live in L.A. ;)
